"Someone like you"Adele

La mayoría de las primeras canciones de Adele tienen como gran fuente de inspiración el rompimiento con su novio. Mediante su interpretación descarga su rabia y también su melancolía.

Someone Like You, ('Alguien como tú') fue escrita sobre el final de esta  relación de 18 meses con esta persona de 30 años, con quien pensaba que llegaría a casarse. Sin embargo,  luego de este rompimiento él se comprometió con otra persona.

Aún así, en este tema Adele,  menciona que para ella la relación no ha terminado aún. 

Un dato curioso de esta canción es que sólo está acompañada del sonido de un piano. Adele escribió Someone Like You utilizando una guitarra acústica y según ella misma cuenta, le produjo un sentimiento de paz, ya que en esta canción a  trata de convencerse a sí misma que podría ser feliz encontrando a otra persona que no fuera su novio de aquel entonces, aunque en alguna entrevista ha ironizado diciendo que la canción tendría que decir:

                                    ''ahora sí encontraré a alguien y no como tú''
